2010 Higher Plane Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark red in appearance. The nose shows floral notes, blackcurrant, cherry, raspberry and plum fruits with complex characters of cassis, nutmeg and dusty dried herbs. Oak contributes suggestions of cedar & vanilla. The palate is full bodied, concentrated & dense. Intense fruitcharacters are complemented by liquorice, spice, menthol & vanilla flavours, balanced by savoury notes & framed with ultra-fine chalky tannins. Incredible length. Try this with Beef rib roast, mushrooms, red onion and horseradish jam or Eggplant mesa'a'ah (Egyptian spiced eggplant)
