Straw in colour, with bright green tinges. The wine has a complex bouquet of lemon barley, candied almonds & distinct toastiness.The palate is richly textured yet zesty & bright. Intense lemon zest is complemented by a hint of salinity & a roasted almond character from barrel fermentation. Would be a great match with fish & chips or Taleggio tart with walnut pastry.
