Hoo boy. The 2013 Estate Chardonnay is sensational. It is composed, restrained, mouthfilling, complex and balanced. This is a straight-up pleasure and joy to drink and assess here. Long, elongated phenolics stroke the sides of a seamless array of orchard fruit, preserved citrus and exotic spice (cut fennel, a hint of clove, some star anise, etc.). The acidity remains unchanged and undaunted by time slapping an almost strict band across the tongue—but scintillating and necessary. So, we'll allow it. This is very very good. It is a very fresh, exciting wine. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. Drink: 2023 - 2033 95+ Points robertparker.com, 6th July 2023 Read less
