2009 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

With time in bottle it is beautiful, showing elegance, poise and finesse. Purple-red in colour,
the nose shows subtle perfume of violets mixed with bramble berry, plum fruit while balanced oak is visible only with chocolate, spice are cedar notes. The palate is seamless and silky smooth with controlled concentration, fine grainy tannin and a long, long finely textured finish. 

It does not feel the need to trumpet its existence like the 2008 or 2010 and remains one of the most approachable Cabernets Juniper has made. Silky tannin from the beginning which made blending simple.
